Preparation for D.C.

May 13, 2010: Graduation from Bradley University with my Masters in Business Administration was a glorious occasion! Thanks to all who attended the commencement and shared this hard-earned achievement. The evening's memory will always be a highlight of my lifetime.

Earlier, we had a houseful of family for sandwiches and pictures so following the champagne reception, Greg and I headed home for clean up and more packing. I had shot out of bed 4 a.m. brimming with excitement for the big day so I collapsed at midnight physically and emotionally exhausted but with a smile on my face.

Up and at 'em once again at 3 a.m. This was the big day--well, at least one of them. We readied for the 14 hour trip to Maryland, where I will be staying with family for the summer. After loading the car and tidying the house with everything in order, we affixed the GPS system to the dashboard and pulled out of the drive ready to start a new chapter of our ever exciting, unpredictable lives!
